~~Held each July in Kelowna, BC, the Grand Championships is a head to head competition including Gold Medal and High Gold Medal performances from any Evergreen Dance Festival, Dance Extreme Festival, Dream Team Dance Festival or Great Canadian Dance Challenge. With great trophies, medals, scholarships and cash award incentives this is by far the most exciting event of the season. The “best of the best” from Saskatchewan, Alberta and BC compete for our Grand Champion status. The standard is fantastic, the adjudicators are second to none and the atmosphere is pure excitement! The event concludes with a Show of Stars dance-off that shouldn’t be missed!      Congratulations to all dancers on a job well done! I don't think anyone believed we came from a small rural town in Alberta because we sure held our own against all the high-end city studios. You should all be very proud of yourselves! The trip and experience itself was awesome! Talk to any parent or dancer who went - we all had a blast together!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!     Start thinking about next year dancers!!  It'll be a tremendous experience for all of us.
